tears for fears

For those who’ve asked,

No, I’m not going out with Tears For Fears for their upcoming tour. Many reasons, including: I’m focusing my attention more on my music, the last tour honestly burnt me out, I was not asked back most likely because my focus is not on doing production and merchandise for other bands and I would agree that someone else would be much better suited for that job and happy to take it. Also, I have been quiet about it for the most part but, many of you know that I was in a 4 year relationship with someone who had worked with the band as well. When that ended right before the West Coast/S. American tour last year, it made things quite awkward for the whole TFF family while on the road. Such is life, I guess and we survived :).

So, I thought it was best that I bow out and move into the next chapter of my life.

I’m still good friends with the band and crew and visited them today at their first rehearsal for this upcoming tour. (BTW, for the first day back, they all sound incredible and Carina (Round) is really killing it). I see many of the guys quite often still outside of the TFF umbrella and everything is cool and always changing. They’ll always be a pseudo family to me.

I will be forever grateful and honored for the work that they gave me, the opportunities to travel the world, the first hand knowledge of the ins and outs of the music business, and especially the opportunity to sing with them at many of their shows. They are very supportive of my musical endeavors and that means a lot to me, more than a paycheck does, actually.

Also, to all the fans who have also been supportive of me and my music, I want to thank you above and beyond. It means a lot and I have big plans in the works. May look into doing a Kickstarter project actually so, please stay tuned.

Again, thank you for all of the support and kind messages. Everything is copacetic and I’m a happy, lucky lady.

"Don’t you just love a happy ending? Oh yeah, well so do I."

Much love!
